In her excellent book 'Know Your Place' DR.Faiza Shaheen has a chapter ' Education: The Great Un - Equaliser' . This latest piece of proposed Government legislation just adds greater weight to her argument that the system is rigged against those from a working class background. Statistically, she estimated the chances of her getting to where she is now, from her disadvantaged background were about 10 million to 1.
