2020 Coronavirus lockdown free literacy resources

Warmest greetings to everyone who reads this message.

These are frightening and heartbreaking times as the world goes into various forms of lockdown in fear of the coronavirus Covid 19. One way or another, our societies are disrupted and many people are losing loved relatives and friends and/or their livelihoods. Words cannot adequately describe this scenario that is akin to a science fiction story.

In light of this development, people are doing what they can in different ways to support others and support one another. In the field of education, there are now many resources made freely accessible for at least this period. Please feel free to add links to free resources that support literacy - whether phonics, story-telling, or any material worthy of sharing with others for home-learning.

I'm making a start here with various foundational literacy resources provided by my husband David and me suitable for 3+ year olds to adults as required. The list also includes a pre-recorded webinar which may be of particular interest to teachers:
