Our school uses Salford. Obviously it is based on the old way of teaching reading. The first sentence is harder than the second one. There is no progression in terms of graphemes employed. I am interested to hear views. My F2 class from last year are now Y1 and still 70% of them have not yet matched their CA with RA (based on Salford).
