Coronavirus (COVID-19) Catch-up Premium for England
The government is providing a one-off universal £650 million catch-up premium for the 2020 to 2021 academic year to ensure that schools have the support they need to help all pupils make up for lost teaching time. See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus ... up-premium. Schools can choose how to spend it, including on whole school training and resources as long as they are intended to support catch-up. Schools may use staff from within or outside their schools.
Catch-up with reading and spelling through systematic synthetic phonics

Thank you for flagging up these very good 'systematic synthetic phonics' based programmes and resources, Elizabeth.
Both the Phonics International programme (for all ages) and No Nonsense Phonics Skills series can be readily used for intervention.
In addition, we have added a link via our Phonics International website, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, to a wide range of free resources including our Series of 8 eBooks 'Alphabetic Code and Phonics Skills' which can also be used for intervention at school and/or at home. See here:
